Fort Lauderdale Boat Show 2010 Follow Up Report

2010 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

Dear all,

The Fort Lauderdale International Boatshow has ended and things are starting to get back to normal here at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center where our offices are.

Over all the boat show was much more upbeat then the past 2 years. There was a strong number of yacht owners present and talking about moving up to larger yachts.

We had a great deal of interest in the new ALL OCEAN YACHTS 90' AND 100' cockpit design in both steel and in glass. All Ocean Yachts had the new model of the All Ocean Yachts 90' on display at the INACE Yachts booth in the builders tent and it stopped a number of people in there tracks.

I want to thank everyone who stopped by to talk to us about New Builds and Brokerage Yachts. There are still some good values out there in existing boats and we have seen a number of world cruising yachts sell since the Monaco Yacht Show. I think we are going to see this trend of good boats that are good values being sold accelerate.

I look forward to speaking to you about values in existing vessels and new builds.
