All Ocean Yachts is proud to announce the sale of
Senshu Maru the 133' (40.82 M) Explorer Yacht built by Niigata Shipyard in 1997 as a fishery research vessel and converted to a world cruising Explorer Yacht in 2012.
Senshu Maru will be going back to her roots with her sale to the FINS ATTACHED, Marine Research and Conservation foundation. FINS ATTACHED mission is to conduct research, promote conservation and provide education for the protection of the marine ecosystem and the protection of the ocean's apex predators. They direct their efforts to Shark Research, Shark Conservation, Shark Public Awareness/Education and Advocacy.
The addition of Senshu Maru to their fleet, soon to be rechristened allows FINS ATTACHED to move forward with their plans to enhance the education and research programs. In addition to having researchers aboard individual cabins or the whole vessel will be available for charter to private parties to dive along with the researchers and experience the world of the ocean's apex predators.
