The Explorer Guy Goes to Lat. 8.25° South, Long. 115.14° West
The Balinese are know for their kindness, wonderful crafts and deep beliefs. Like several other spots the Explorer guy has been to as you move off the coast and into the inland you will discover even more beauty. Ubud is a town set amongst rice paddies in the foothills of the Gianyar regency and is one of Bali's major arts and culture centers. It is about an hour drive from the coast and there is always an event or festival going on. My brother was so impressed with the area he is now building a house there. There are a number of other towns and villages in the area just waiting to be explored. As always I hope you will send me any information on the area that you have so we can post it for others.

Well it looks like the Explorer guy has found himself in one of the most magical locations in the world. Bali is renowned for its exquisite beaches, stunning under water life and most of all for its culture.
