I recently had the opportunity to inspect "Sea Owl" at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show and it is easy to see why at her original launch she was awarded "Best Motoryacht of the Year" by Showboats Magazine.
Built in Seattle by Delta Marine she shows impeccable joinery work using the finest American cherry wood with burl accents. The stonework by Jeff Homchick is flawless. In general her interior is classic and very tastefully executed.
Main Salon 2
"Sea Owl" sleeps 8-10 in 4 ensuite staterooms. She has a VIP stateroom not typically seen in a vessel her size and a convertible sky lounge which can sleep two. Crew quarters are forward and very comfortable. The overall impression is the layout is open and spacious and you feel as if you are on a much larger yacht. Everything flows.
On Deck VIP
The mechanical spaces are very accessible and well maintained. She is powered by twin 1800 hp MTU's and can cruise at 13 knots.
Below Master Stateroom
She has been extensively updated including Quantum Zero Speed Stabilizers, complete exterior paint, complete engine overhaul, and numerous "state of the art" electronic and audio upgrades including KVH Satcom, Kaledescape AV system throughout and elaborate security systems.
"Sea Owl's" execution is impressive throughout. She shows none of her age and is a beautiful example of why Delta Marine is one of the finest yacht builders in the US. Absolutely a must see in her size range.
